Sunday School classes welcome children age 4 through grade 5.  Classes meet on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15 a.m. September through May.  Students also spend time singing – and having a lot of fun!

First Communion Instruction

At Our Savior’s we take some time during 5th grade to learn about Holy Communion, and then to join on the meal.  First Communion instruction is usually in late winter/early Spring, and we ask parents to join us.  Over two sessions we learn about the Sacrament, we have some fun creating a “communion chalice” of our very own, and even bake communion bread for our worship together.  Watch for details, or contact one of the pastors for more information.

HOWEVER…

• If you believe your child is ready for Holy Communion at a younger age, get in touch with one of the pastors and we will work with you to discern if this is the right time for your child.
• If you join the congregation and your child is already receiving Holy Communion, we will not turn your child away!  Persons already receiving the sacrament are ALWAYS welcome at the table!

Sugar Creek Bible Camp

Our Savior’s partners with Sugar Creek Bible Camp in Ferryville to provide high quality outdoor ministry to all ages, but especially to children. Sugar Creek operates year round, with a very busy and active summer season, with summer camp opportunities to children of all ages. Over the years hundreds of kids from Our Savior’s have attended camp, including over 25 in 2022.  Our Savior’s offers a “campership” to assist with the cost of this ministry.  To apply for a campership please complete a request form. You can download the form here.
